The Seehotel Sparer is located directly at the Monticolo Lake near the small town Monticolo and only 10km from the provincial capital of Bozen. It is surrounded by an idyllic landscape with green forests, gentle hills, and vineyards. The lake consists of two parts, the big and the small lake, which are connected by a narrow channel. The big lake offers many leisure activities like swimming, paddling, boat tours, and fishing. The small lake, on the other hand, is a protected area and is a habitat for many different types of birds. Right next to the lake, there are different possibilities for hikes and bike tours.

We prepared the most important information for your arrival at our hotel at Lake Monticolo for you:
When arriving from the Brennero highway A22, take the exit Bozen Süd and turn left right after the exit. Follow the MeBo highway in the direction of Meran. After a few kilometres, take the first exit and follow the signs in the direction of “Eppan-Appiano”
Coming from Switzerland, go to Algund near Mean and take the MeBo highway in the direction of Bozen. After 25km, take the exit Eppan and follow the signs to “Eppan-Appiano”.
After about 4 kilometres, leave the street shortly before the underground passage (don’t enter the underground passage), take the third exit at the roundabout, and follow the signs to “Montiggl/Montiggler Seen”. The street passes through the Monticolo forest. After 4 kilometres, you arrive at a small roundabout. There, you take the second exit next to the barrier in the direction of Montiggl and follow the street down to the lake. Arrived at the barrier of the parking place, take the small street at the left to Seehotel Sparer, without entering the parking space.
